Kenji Hirasawa
Born in 1982 in Tokyo, Japan. Hirasawa graduated from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University in 2006. After graduation, he began work at a studio and eventually became independent, moving to the United Kingdom. In 2011, he released a photo collection entitled “Celebrity” (Bemojake), then hosting a solo exhibition of the same name at the London gallery KK Outlet. Hirasawa began gaining further acclaim, his works featured on the covers of photography magazines such as Photoworks and GUP. In 2016, his new series “HORSE’ was featured in the ISSEY MIYAKE MEN 2016 F/W collection, while Hirasawa himself completed a master’s program in photography at the Royal College of Art in the same year. He currently works in both London and Tokyo.
