Chihiro Ichinose
Ichinose was born in 1975 in Tokyo. She is currently studying for her Doctorate in Arts and Sciences at International Christian University. Ichinose has presented numerous personal works while also producing work for books, magazines, and ads. Since 2011, she has been an active member of PRELIBRI, a publisher of miniature books. In 2014, she was an award recipient at Japan Photo Award. Major exhibitions include the solo exhibition “KITSILANO” (2012) at Nikon Salon Ginza and “STEP OUT! New Japanese Photographers” at IMA galley (2015). She has published the photobooks, ON THE HORIZON (2006), KITSILANO (2012), and STILL LIFE (2015).
