Hayahisa Tomiyasu

Born in Kanagawa in 1982. Hayahisa Tomiyasu graduated from the Photography Department of Tokyo Polytechnic University in 2006. He earned his diploma in 2013, and postgraduate “Meisterschüler” in 2016 from the Satellite Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig. After working as a part-time assistant for an evening photography course at the Academy, he started working as an assistant lecturer in the Art and Media Department at the Zurich University of the Arts. He has been exhibiting worldwide, especially in Germany and Switzerland. He was honored with MACK First Book Award last year and recently published his monograph, TTP.
