Wataru Yamamoto
Born 1986 in Tochigi. Completed a master's degree at Tama Art University in 2013. Received an honorable mention at the 2011 Canon New Cosmos of Photography. His exhibitions include “126 Polaroid” (2010, Yokohama Museum of Art, Kanagawa), “3331 Trans Arts” (2012, 3331 Arts Chiyoda, Tokyo), “Drawing a Line” (2013, photographers’ gallery, Tokyo), “Plane Tree Observations” (2013, Yumiko Chiba Associates, Tokyo), and “Desired Forms -The Deep Shadows of Vessels-” (2014, NADiff Gallery, Tokyo). He has published the monographs “Drawing a Line” (2012, MCV MCV), “Desired Forms -The Deep Shadows of Vessels-” (2014, Yumiko Chiba Associates), and “Photographers' Sketchbooks” (2014, Thames & Hudson).
