Satomi Sakuma
Born 1978 in Tokyo. She left her course at Nihon University College of Art, Department of Fine Art, in 2005. She was the recipient of the Konica Minolta Foto Premio Encouragement Award in 2005. Sakuma has held a number of solo exhibitions, including “No Nature” (2008, MUSEE F, Tokyo), “
” (2010, Port Gallery T, Tokyo), “” (2011, MUSEE F, Tokyo), and “In a Landscape” (2013, POETIC SCAPE). She was also included in the "Yokohama Preview" (Shinko Pier, Kanagawa), which was a special cooperation program of the BankART Life Yokohama Triennale in 2011. She has participated in a number of group exhibitions, and her work has been included in The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art collection since 2012.
